Prioritizing Community Well-being in Ward 26

Under the visionary leadership of Mrs. Sneha Ranjit Kalate, President of the Ranjit Aaba Kalate Foundation, a free multi-specialty health and eye check-up camp was organized at Wakad. The initiative aimed to make high-quality diagnostic and advisory healthcare services easily accessible to local citizens, with a special emphasis on senior citizens and low-income families.

Key Highlights of the Medical Camp:

  • Comprehensive Screenings: Patients received free screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar levels, general physician consultations, and comprehensive eye testing.
  • Expert Medical Team: A specialized panel of doctors and optometrists from reputed local hospitals volunteered to offer precise check-ups and medical counseling.
  • Free Medicine Distribution: Following diagnosis, basic medicines and eye drops were distributed to those in need, free of cost.
  • Spectacle Distribution: Over 120 senior citizens identified with refractive errors were registered to receive free spectacles sponsored by the foundation.

Commitment to Public Health

Speaking at the event, Mrs. Sneha Ranjit Kalate highlighted the foundation's core vision:

"Health is the greatest wealth of our community. Many families put off essential health screenings due to busy schedules or financial constraints. Through these camps, we bring quality diagnostics and medical consultations directly to their doorsteps. We are committed to continuing these monthly outreach camps across Pimple Nilakh, Wakad, and Vishal Nagar."

Overwhelming Community Support

The local residents expressed their gratitude for the prompt management, cleanliness, and dedication of the volunteers at the camp. More than 300 individuals successfully completed their health assessments, making this one of the foundation's most impactful health initiatives this quarter.
